It seems there’s no stopping Miley and she is currently riding high after being announced as the final performer at the annual New Year’s Rockin’ Eve festivities, taking to the stage just moments before the giant ball drops.

‘Smilers! There’s been a change in my NYE plans @RyanSeacrest asked me to perform in Times Square for #RockinEve!!’ she tweeted.

Seacrest confirmed the songstress would be taking part in the New Year’s Eve Times Square celebrations saying, ‘We just added Miley Cyrus to be in Times Square right before the ball drops. We try to look for the artist that’s created a lot of buzz and had a really big year’.
