Matthew McConaughey’s wife stepped out with their 14-year-old daughter, Vida, in matching outfits—red short tops and skirts.

Many disapproved of the choice of attire for the young girl.

42-year-old model Camila Alves attended the Hermès Birkin show in New York last week, bringing along their only daughter, 14-year-old Vida Alves-McConaughey.

Mother and daughter were dressed in red and posed hand-in-hand before the photographers. Camila later shared a photo from the event on her page, writing: “A very special event… Thank you for welcoming us with such care and love! The show was amazing!”

For the outing, Camila Alves wore a stylish outfit consisting of a sleeveless cropped top and a long skirt with a scalloped hem, gathered at the waist in soft waves. She completed the look with open-toe sandals and a clutch.

Vida accompanied her mother in a mini skirt with large rhinestones at the waist and a short top with long sleeves and a collar, with the zipper partially undone. The young girl wore black ballet flats.

The duo’s matching outfits sparked a lot of discussion online. Many noted that Vida has grown significantly recently, with some criticizing the outfit as “too mature” for her age:
